Gombi local government area is in Adamawa state, Northeast geopolitical enclave of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are domiciled in the town of Gombi and comprise of a number of towns and villages which include Ga, Garkida, Guyaku, Lala, Shigane, Tofa, Wuyaku, and Bawa. The estimated population of Gombi LGA is 157,803 inhabitants with the area’s most prominent tribes being the Hausa and the Fulani. The Fufulde and Hausa languages are extensively spoken in the area while Islam and Christianity are the commonly practiced religions in the LGA.
